I took this picture of Florian (a friend of a friend 
) at a beach volleyball turnament in Santa Cruz, California. I believe, it was the first time for me that I tried to take sports pictures. Unfortunately, his team didn't make it pass the first round (although they won 2 out of 3 games 
) so I couldn't take a lot of pictures, because the guys in the other teams weren't by far as esthetic as he was 
But it was definately fun for me and I think I learned a few things that are important for that kind of photography.
What do you think? Looking forward to advanced critique on this shot!

It's a great shot, for this screen size I would have edited a tad to bring out detail in the shadows, think you've got some room to play there because the tones are very subtle and rich.
