Um well, I would say my last attempt of coming back to DA wasn't very successful, eh? So I better don't promise anything this time. Just to say that I've started uploading a few 'new' pictures... some of them as old as from November 2005. I guess I have quite some time to catch up with and I'll try my best to do so, cause I know that there are people out there who would love to see some of my recent stuff. Also to let everyone know that I have a brand new camera Nikon or Canon was the big question and utterly convinced to buy a Nikon when I entered the shop - I left it with a Canon. I'm happy though. Very happy

i just thought i should change this month-old journal entry. but what could i tell you? well, i'm back from a fantastic trip to caifornia, where i took hundreds of pictures again! i didn't go out shooting a lot since coming to canada, and i now think that it wasn't because of a lack of motivation (as i believed all the time), but rather a lack of creativity - this city, toronto, is honestly not inspiring me a lot
but california was wonderful! i visited a friend and we were on the road all the time, so i had a lot of chances to take picture. i'll soon start submitting pictures that i took in yosemite national park - they are definately among my favourites. such a beatiful landscape!i also used my 35mm camera again to take some b/w shots - hopefully, they turned out nice will go and pick them up tomorrow.
anyway, keep watching out for these pictures and let me know what you think about them!

It's been an incredibly long time that I haven't been here. There are a couple of reasons for that: I was extremly busy with work; I hadn't had the chance to take many pictures (and thus no pictures to submit to DA); but I also had trouble to renew my DA membership (DA wouldn't accept my credit card because my ISP is too far away from the place where my credit card is registered - which is a nice security featuer unless you are a person that travels as much as I do...) and without the extra features that you have as a member, it's just not as much fun hanging around here. But now I'm back and I have a few pictures to submit, so I guess at least for the next few weeks, you will see me here again from time to time. I will also try to go through as many of the almost 2,000 pictures in my message center as I can. I desperately need some inspiration and I'm sure I'll find it among the pictures of my friends here on DA!

I guess it's time for a new update on where I am and what I am doing... Some of you might have already recognized that my current residence states "Toronto/Canada" - and yeah, it's true: I moved again
Though I can promise you: this is the last stop on my little round the world tour for now I will be staying here in Toronto until the end of october before finally returing to Germany (temporarily at least )
As I start working on monday, I'm not sure if I will be able to take a lot of pictures in the next weeks/months. I hope though, that I find at least some time during weekends to go out shooting. We will see. After all, I'm very excited about my new job (the first REAL job in my life ) especially because I'm given a lot of responsibility as project manager of an international youth led development project! And well, sometimes I just have to acknowledge that making this world a better place is a little more important than taking nice pictures
